Fine Qualities and Exemplary Pedigrees

Straight Egyptians are a very special type of Arabian horse. In order to be considered a Straight Egyptian, the horse has to do more than be an excellent example of the breed characteristics. It must also be registered with The Arabian Horse Registry of America, and its pedigree must trace a line to the original Straight Egyptian horses of Abbas Pasha I or Ali Pasha Sherif. This means that Straight Egyptians must have that desert fire running in their blood. The specific details of the exact pedigree needs are listed on The Pyramid Society's web site, which include information on how to identify the line of Straight Egyptians.

Al Kahira Arabians continues this beautiful line of Arabians both in Cairo, Egypt and Yorklyn, Delaware USA. We wish to ensure that the desert fire lasts many generations and to remain true to the excellence that the Straight Egyptian breed exemplifies.
